You’re: To be used as “You are.”
- Ex. You’re really full of energy today.
Your: Signals possesion
- Ex. Is your dog okay?
Their: Belonging to them
- Ex. Their daughter is quite smart.
They’re: To be used as “They are.”
- Ex. They’re planning on leaving tomorrow.
There: A place
- Ex. Can’t you see him over there?
Here: A place
- Ex. Come here so I can show you something
Hear: to catch a sound with your ears
- Ex. Did you hear about that murder?
Than: used in comparisons
- Ex. The sun is brighter here than it is over there.
Then: A time, or explaining something that happened after
- Ex. First she ran 3 blocks, then she jogged all the way home
- Ex. Back then, things were different.
